Used them a few times over the years and had good results till now

They sent me a 20percent off promo code, I used it to buy tickets, When I went to buy the promo code loaded in box properly and showed me about to make an $80 purchase instead of $100

But when it rang up they still charged my card the whole $100....

You would think that my proof of sending them a screeen shot of the $80 would confirm its on their end but they refuse to refund the difference saying all sales are final and the code didnt register properly....

Yeah no shit it didnt but that had nothing to do with me, its obviously some backend issue with their system but how can you tell someone they are about to make an 80 purchase , then charge them 100 .

so we will see how this ends up.

Service fees at all of these sites have gotten out of hand
The worst part for me was eliminating the ticket brokers around the stadium....aka SCALPERS

I have had nothing but success over the years except for 1 time out of hundreds......pretty slick as a guy put a very thin, "undetectable at night" sticker on the ticket he sold me that photoshopped the correct date and game onto the previous nights ticket......never seen anything like it before.

It really hurts when I am buying low as now a cheap $20 ticket from a scalper becomes close to $40 on a SeatGeek type site....dont even get me started on StubHub, only squares start their search with them.

Had to dispute the charge and fill out and FAX some stuff to CC company
It sucks to do all that just to get someone to do the right thing, but you cant let yourself be CHEATED either.

They sent me a letter today and upheld my dispute for $20.06.

so at least the CC had my back on this one.

LOL....they just sent me a code for Black Friday and I need one more ticket....

What would you do.

Write off 1 bad experience and give them one more chance or pay more for a ticket and not fool with them anymore?

I would write them off but if you're serious, contact them and say you might consider it if they give you BOTH discounts since you got stiffed the first time. That said, how can you trust them to follow through after the first experience?

Final update (unless something crazy happens)

I could not resist the price of $35 on the 35yd line when other sites have similar and worse seats for $60-80+
sweet spot for the Superdome only about 10 rows up in the upper deck....

Sidenote if you havent been to the Superdome
They have some of the most hideous and overpriced lower level seats of ANY stadium Ive been to, shitty angles so make sure you dont get suckered into an expensive low row in the 100's as you will have a hard time seeing. At least get something 15 to about 25 rows up, too far up and you will sit under a clausterphobic inducing covering.

On the flip side their uppers are some of the BEST values of any stadium Ive been to.....
even when I have to sit in a corner its really not THAT bad and its ALWAYS the cheapest tickets available as a group.
A corner upper will likely produce better views than a lower corner in the 100's, unless you prefer to exchange closeness for poor angles and missed action.

I digress,
The code went through (I would not have disputed if it didnt..Would have just wrote it off to "shame on me", lol)

I give most everyone a second chance to make good , especially when they have done right by me in the past.
Any further foolishness ends our relationship, regardless of future discounts.

I bought a Sixers ticket from them last year. Knew exactly what I was paying unlike StubHub who don't show you the full price with fees until checkout. Now you aren't obligated to buy the ticket then but you waste a lot of time jumping through hoops to get to that point.
